In this episode, Dr.Pijush Kumar Dutta talks about community based conservation approach for forests and the imminent need to adopt it as against the approach as in protected area of conservation. He worked extensively in North Eastern region of the country .
Dr.Dutta has a doctorate in Ecology , taught Ecology at Tata Institute of Social sciences and with WWF for over two decades.
Currently he is working as Lead in WWF's Community engagement in Wildlife and Habitat division.
