Cs: Když jarní vítr jemně zašuměl mezi kvetoucími stromy, Tereza seděla na trávě v areálu Pražského hradu.
En: When the spring breeze gently rustled among the blossoming trees, Tereza sat on the grass in the grounds of Pražský hrad.
Cs: Slunce svítilo jasně a hřálo ji na tváři, ale v jejím srdci byla mlha pochybností.
En: The sun shone brightly, warming her face, but in her heart, there was a fog of doubt.
Cs: Před ní ležely rozevřené knihy, plné poznámek, které se snažila vstřebat.
En: Open books lay before her, filled with notes she was trying to absorb.
Cs: Vedle ní seděl Jakub, rozvalený na dece, přestože se ještě před několika dny zdálo, že by raději trávil čas na skateboardu v Letenských sadech než s knihou o matematice.

Cs: Přestože věděla, že jak je Jakub někdy lehkomyslný, má pravdu.
