Trump Heads Back to Walter Reed as New Questions Swirl About His Health 5/26/26

President Trump returns to Walter Reed…again.
Monday was Trump’s third in-person medical checkup during his second term and it comes as experts speculate that his health is failing. We will look at he White House statement made about Ttump’s health, prior imaging and exams (including last year’s CT scan and April physical), the administration’s explanations for bruising and leg swelling (chronic venous insufficiency and aspirin use), and how critics and independent physicians have reacted to repeated visits and limited public detail despite being the oldest person to take on a new US presidential term.
A trip to see the doctor wasn’t all Memorial Day brought for the president. In addition to laying a wreath at the tomb of the unknowns, Trump went on a fresh rampage against Democrats. His social media posts and comments were less than solemn on a day meant to honor America’s war dead.
Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist and author David Cay Johnston joins to discuss this and much more.
Animal activist Karen Dawn, of Dawn Watch, will stop by to talk about a new argument being made against spaying or neutering pets.
