20-year-old filmmaker and VFX artist, Kane Parsons, joins the podcast to discuss his incredible story from making short films on YouTube to now directing the feature film, Backrooms, for A24. The film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve. Kane joins the podcast to breakdown his history with Backrooms, filmmaking craft, score, cinematography, VFX, clues to look for in the film, mental health and so much more.

Kane was only 16-years-old when he made his first Backrooms short, "The Backrooms (Found Footage)", in 2022. Just 4-years later, he has a major feature getting a wide release in theaters.
