Clarence B. Jones, the lawyer, strategist and speechwriter who helped shape some of the most important moments of the civil rights movement, has died at 95. Jones worked closely with Martin Luther King Jr., helped draft portions of the “I Have a Dream” speech and played a major role in civil rights litigation and activism for decades.
