The White Sox were tied to all three Japanese free agents this past offseason. They ended up with Munetaka Murakami, who is trending toward being the AL Rookie of the Year, a budding superstar, and a franchise cornerstone (provided he signs an extension). The Blue Jays are getting decent production from Kazuma Okamoto, while Anthony Kay is outperforming Tatsuya Imai.

Host Todd Welter breaks down how the White Sox are shining with adding Murakami, along with Kay possibly being the better pitcher to sign out of the NPB.

He then goes over how the White Sox made the right call to DFA Jarred Kelenic over Luisangel Acuna to make room for Rikuu Nishida. Todd then discusses who else will get designated for assignment as pitching prospect David Sandlin is getting called up.
