Part 1: Join Shippa as he tries to cope with the solitude after Tony escaped from the Portarlington chill to the warm climes of the Saltash tributaries on the Cornish coast. Shippa’s wondering if the sky is as blue there as it is here, or is it a deeper blue sky…maybe even a deep dark blue like a Lapis Sky. Well, at least he can ask Claude Fonseca whether there is such a natural phenomenon, or is Lapis Sky simply the name of his band, creating a sound from the past with such modern overtones, as he keeps Shippa company and chats with him about all things Lapis Sky-wise.

Part 2: Shippa gets stuck into some new submissions from up and coming artists in the second half of the show, with tracks from Lewin Grimley & The Broken Strings (Brisbane), Aleksiah (Adelaide), Spoils (Cincinatti, Ohio), Sega Jade (Wollongong), The Locustz - feat Rick Springfield, Matt & Gregg Bissonette (Aus/USA), giddy (Sydney), Darlinghurst (Melbourne), The Revstars (Geelong), The Mellons (Salt Lake City, Utah), Vinted Veneer (Brisbane), Post Script Philosophy (Newcastle) and After Ford (Brisbane), and with no Tony to surprise, there’s no Shippa’s Surprise...yes, the kids were disappointed!
