The World Health Organisation warns that the Ebola epidemic in Central Africa is outpacing response efforts, with more than 100 deaths and over 900 suspected cases, primarily in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A 14th passenger from a cruise ship has tested positive for Hantavirus, with the Spanish national now in quarantine in Madrid while five Australians remain in isolation in Western Australia.
