Variable rates now make up a growing share of new mortgages, while five-year fixed terms have dropped sharply. At the same time, we’re seeing a broader conversation happening online and in real life. Some homeowners are even questioning whether owning property is worth it anymore, given rising costs, maintenance, and market pressure.
