Cardi B is once again turning up the pressure on Tasha K and this time she’s not just going after Tasha herself. According to new reports and court filings, Cardi B has now allegedly filed a lawsuit against Tasha K’s husband, Cheickna Kebe, and a company connected to him called Yelen Entertainment.

Cardi’s legal team is accusing them of helping move and hide money and assets after Cardi won her massive defamation lawsuit against Tasha K back in 2022. That original judgment ended up being worth nearly 4 million dollars.

Now according to the allegations in these new filings, Cardi B believes Tasha K and her husband allegedly shifted business operations, YouTube revenue, bank accounts, and even property ownership into different companies and different names in an attempt to avoid paying the judgment.

The lawsuit reportedly claims that Yelen Entertainment was created shortly after the original judgment and that the company essentially took over operations from Tasha K’s previous business while keeping money away from Cardi B’s reach. There are also allegations involving property transfers, offshore trusts, and rerouted income streams.

Cardi B’s side is basically arguing that this was all part of a coordinated effort to protect assets and avoid collection while Tasha K was simultaneously claiming financial hardship through bankruptcy proceedings.

Now here’s my opinion on all of this.

Personally, I think Tasha K is playing chess not checkers. I think Tasha K understands exactly what she’s doing. I think dragging this situation out keeps her name in the headlines, keeps her relevant in the algorithm, keeps Cardi B talking about her, and honestly keeps people tuning in to see what happens next.

At this point, every new court filing becomes content. Every accusation becomes another viral conversation online. And whether people agree with Tasha K or not, she continues to stay in the middle of the conversation years after the original lawsuit.

And honestly? I feel like in some ways Tasha K is winning because she has managed to keep herself culturally relevant during this entire legal battle while continuing to build attention around her name.
