Today is Memorial Day.
Today, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. We do not take their sacrifice lightly. We do not forget the price that was paid. We remember that freedom is not free.
To every person who has served, thank you. To every family who has lost someone in service, we honor you. To every life lost protecting this nation, we remember you.
Today is also a reminder to honor the people we have lost in our own lives by living with purpose, discipline, faith, gratitude, and love.
The best way to honor sacrifice is to live a life worthy of it.
