Episode Details

A large number of patients can prevent the development diabetes by having a Kraft Test. Also known as the Insulin and glucose stimulation test. This is a 3 hour test done here in our blood lab to determine your body’s insulin response to a measured “glucose challenge” (a sugary solution) and return to baseline. At Cardiovascular Interventions we offer our patients this test and if positive guide them with the right diet and lifestyle changes to bring down their insulin resistance levels and reverse the development of diabetes.
