Pl: Nad rosyjskimi wzgórzami wiosennej Polski, gdzie ziemia lśniła po porannym deszczu, rozciągało się gospodarstwo Zofii i Wojtka.
En: Above the Russian hills of springtime Polska, where the earth glistened after the morning rain, lay the farm of Zofia and Wojtek.

Pl: Zboże falowało pod łagodnym wiatrem, a stada krów i kóz pasły się spokojnie, przerywając ciszę delikatnym bekaniem i muczeniem.
En: The grain waved under the gentle breeze, and herds of cows and goats grazed peacefully, breaking the silence with gentle bleats and moos.

Pl: Jednak tego dnia spokój został zakłócony.
