In this episode of "The John Doyle Show," John breaks down the death of Homelander, the antagonist of Amazon Prime Video's series "The Boys." This show has long depicted its primary villain as a sort of mockery of Donald Trump, and the show's creator, Eric Kripke, specifically wanted to use Homelander's death as a way of demonstrating how "strong men" are actually reduced to helpless cowards when "stripped of their power." This, of course, is merely a projection. John outlines the true history of how strong men typically face their demise, which is more often than not with considerable dignity.
