In this episode of The Drake Toll Show on Westwood One Sports, John Lund breaks down a packed slate of basketball and football headlines. The show leads with the red-hot New York Knicks, who secured their ninth straight postseason victory with a 109-93 blowout over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Fueled by an 18-0 third-quarter surge, Josh Hart’s playoff-career-high 26 points, and Jalen Brunson’s double-double, the Knicks took a commanding 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

Transitioning across the hardwood, Lund debates the integrity of the game regarding Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s frequent shooting fouls and questions whether Victor Wembanyama is the true MVP. The discussion shifts to NBA legacy questions, analyzing whether LeBron James should take a pay cut to join a title contender.
