Efforts Underway To Establish Creche In West Clare Village

The first step in establishing an essential childcare facility in a rural West Clare village will be taken this evening. A community meeting is taking place at 7pm tonight in Mullagh Sportsfield with a view to setting up a creche. According to Pobal, Mullagh is among the top 100 most deprived settlements in the country. Quilty Fianna Fáil Councillor Michael Shannon says its vital new amenities are secured.
