Snowbirds' Final Flights: A Farewell to Tutor Jets
Description
The Canadian Snowbirds, the iconic nine-jet aerobatic team, are preparing for their final performances with their CT-114 Tutor jets before transitioning to CT-157 Siskins in the early 2030s. Vancouver Island residents have two more opportunities to catch their shows: August 4th in Victoria and August 8th during the David Foster Foundation gala in Abbotsford. The B.C. Aviation Museum will host a special event on August 3rd, featuring Major-General Glen Younghusband, the first Snowbirds team leader, and current team members. The team will also perform at the Abbotsford Air Show and conclude their season with shows in California in October.
