Description
The night after the ghost light went out, Luna finds herself in the depths of the Theater on Bleecker, following a frayed rope of old velvet into a basement she never knew existed. There she discovers a casting couch under a bare bulb, a stack of yellowed photographs, and a reel-to-reel tape that plays Lydia's voice — but now Lydia is answering questions that Luna never asked. The tape ends with a single instruction: 'Pick up the script.' Luna is beginning to understand that the unfinished play was never the point — she is being auditioned for something far older than the theater itself.
