State lawmakers are preparing to redraw Mississippi's congressional districts, but because Mississippi has already held primary elections, the process of doing so is basically on hold. The Mississippi Democratic Party pushed for boycotts during a press conference on Tuesday, the same day that the NAACP called for a boycott of college athletic programs at public universities in state's they're accusing of trying to restrict Black voting rights, including Mississippi.
