A former Reservoir police officer has been sentenced on two counts of child exploitation. Attorney General Lynn Fitch confirmed that Rodney Jernigan will spend 20 years in prison day-for-day without the possibility of parole and will also serve 20 years on probation once released. Two months after a chicken restaurant employee was punched in the face in Gulfport, police have a suspect they're looking for. Gulfport Police is trying to identify the man they believe visited the Raising Cane's location on Highway 49 on March 19th, punched an employee in the face and significant injured the individual.
