To hear them tell it, the future is shiftless, pampered, and consists almost-entirely of the unemployed offspring of wealthy Party cadres. We're not sure how accurate this is as a description of modern youth, but it's worth a listen if only for all the Chinese you'll ever need to know the next time you're throwing your boot at one of those upstart ingrates and yelling at them to get off your lawn.
