Today’s reading from 1 Chronicles 1–3 and John 5:25–47 invites us to reflect on the deeper meaning of identity, legacy, and the kind of life that leaves a lasting spiritual impact over time. In John 5, Jesus speaks openly about His identity, authority, and relationship with the Father. The passage reveals that knowing names, history, and religious information alone is not enough unless it leads people into a genuine relationship with God through Christ.
