Description
Monica, Erica, Rita, Sandra...Naomi? I wish! Lou Bega's massive worldwide hit "Mambo No. 5" blew up in 1999. Mixing swing music with Latin and pop was Lou Bega's signature sound. Cody Tinsley from the music history podcast EarWax joins me today to give love to an awesome album that gets overlooked. The controversies and copyright woes, nostalgia tours, "Scatman & Hatman", Lou's cover tribute to Scatman John, and to start things off, a new installment of "Gen Z on the 90's" with guest Fae!
