Ru: Каждый год, в начале мая, я ищу вдохновение в людях и цветах, которые оживают в Парке Горького.
En: Every year, at the beginning of May, I look for inspiration in people and flowers that come to life in Gorky Park.

Ru: Сегодня не исключение.
En: Today is no exception.

Ru: Парк встречает меня буйством красок, и в воздухе разносится музыка праздника.
En: The park greets me with a riot of colors, and music of celebration fills the air.

Ru: Виктория наступила в природе и в душах людей: все празднуют День Победы.
En: Victory has arrived in nature and in people’s souls: everyone is celebrating Victory Day.

Ru: Ветераны гордо ходят в медалях, а дети с радостью бегают между клумбами.
En: Veterans proudly walk around with their medals, and children joyfully run among the flowerbeds.

Ru: Но моя душа тоскует.
En: But my soul feels restless.

Ru: Я художник, но мои картины пусты.
En: I am an artist, but my paintings are empty.

Ru: Каждый день я ищу новую энергию, но она скрывается от меня.
En: Every day I search for new energy, but it hides from me.

Ru: Я смотрю на прохожих, а потом на холст в своей голове.
En: I watch the passersby, and then at the canvas in my mind.

Ru: Он остаётся белым.
En: It remains blank.

Ru: Люди вокруг оживлены фестивалем.
En: The people around are animated by the festival.

Ru: Вдруг передо мной появляется девушка.
En: Suddenly, a girl appears in front of me.

Ru: Она улыбается, её глаза оживлены другими временами.
En: She smiles, her eyes alive with other times.

Ru: Я не знаю, почему я сразу вижу в ней историческую загадку.
En: I don’t know why I immediately see a historical enigma in her.

Ru: "Привет, я Елена," — говорит она.
En: "Hi, I’m Elena," she says.

Ru: "Ты тоже любишь историю?
En: "Do you also love history?"

Ru: " Я немного теряюсь.
En: I am a bit at a loss.

Ru: Она задаёт вопрос, но мне нечего ответить.
En: She asks a question, but I have nothing to answer.

Ru: История для меня роман далёкого прошлого, но с ней — здесь и сейчас.
En: History is a novel of the distant past for me, but with her — it's here and now.

Ru: Пока она рассказывает о значении праздника и о людях, которые принесли миру мир, я улетаю мыслями.
En: While she talks about the significance of the holiday and the people who brought peace to the world, my thoughts drift away.

Ru: Она зовёт меня на мастер-класс по танцам.
En: She invites me to a dance workshop.

Ru: Я неохотно соглашаюсь.
En: I reluctantly agree.

Ru: Без особого энтузиазма, но с тенью любопытства, я следую за ней.
En: Without much enthusiasm, but with a shade of curiosity, I follow her.

Ru: Я ни разу не танцевал так, чтобы сердце забилось быстрее обычного.
En: I have never danced in a way that made my heart beat faster than usual.

Ru: Нас ведут в круг, где весёлые люди уже начинают двигаться под музыку.
En: We are led into a circle where cheerful people are already moving to the music.

Ru: Танец — это совсем не моё.
En: Dancing is not my thing at all.

Ru: Но когда я вижу, как Елена танцует, её энергия и страсть к жизни наполняют меня удивительным чувством лёгкости.
