Uk: Весняне сонце сіяло крізь брудні шибки маленької квартири в Києві.
En: The spring sun shone through the dirty panes of the small apartment in Kyiv.
Uk: У кутку кухні, на старенькому столі, лежали трави в банках.
En: In the corner of the kitchen, on an old table, herbs in jars lay scattered.
Uk: Оксана старанно готувала чай з ромашки і материнки.
En: Oksana was diligently preparing a tea with chamomile and oregano.
Uk: Кухня була тісна і заповнена меблями, які не пасують одне до одного.
En: The kitchen was cramped and filled with mismatched furniture.
Uk: Але в цей момент усе, що її цікавило, — це здоров'я її дитини.
En: But at that moment, all that concerned her was her child's health.

Uk: Може, там щось є," — сказав він.
En: Maybe they have something," he said.
Uk: Як тільки він пішов, Оксана зосередилася на своїй роботі.
En: As soon as he left, Oksana focused on her task.
Uk: Її серце калатало від напруження.
En: Her heart was pounding with tension.
Uk: Вона налила напій у чашку і занесла його сину.
En: She poured the drink into a cup and brought it to her son.
