How I got fooled by the activist CBC prank show
Description
Author and political commentator Jerry Amernic recounts being lured to Vancouver under false pretenses by a CBC-linked prank show targeting critics of mainstream Canadian history narratives. He explains the elaborate deception involving fake producers and a staged interview about Sir John A. Macdonald, raising questions about the CBC's role in publicly mocking conservatives. He argues that this emboldens activists who misrepresent Canadian history and, consequently, undermine national institutions.
