ACIM Lesson 136, Sickness is a defense against the truth, A Course in Miracles
Published 5 months ago
Description
From the new Awaken to Love Retreat Center in Cape Town, South Africa, Jenny Maria De La Luz teaches from Lesson 136 from A Course in Miracles: “Sickness is a defense against the truth.” After the lesson, Jenny Maria reads part of chapter 29, section 7 of A Course in Miracles: “Seek Not Outside Yourself.”
The ego chooses sickness as a way to hide from truth, fearing that to awaken would mean the end of the self it has made. In its delusion, it believes the truth is dangerous—when in fact, it is the only true safety, and is our liberation from the self we made. ✨
