Description
On News@7 this May 15, Taniya Dutta brings to you the evening’s most crucial headlines.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court on Friday ruled that the disputed Bhojshala complex in Dhar is a temple dedicated to Goddess Vagdevi Saraswati and cancelled the Archaeological Survey of India’s 2003 arrangement allowing Friday namaz at the site. The court said historical and archaeological evidence linked the monument to Raja Bhoj and noted continuity of Hindu worship.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his UAE visit as part of his five-nation tour after signing defence, energy and maritime agreements and securing five billion dollars in UAE investments.
Separately, BRICS nations failed to issue a joint statement in New Delhi after a two-day meeting over divisions on the Iran-US-Israel conflict, while Iran said that the Strait of Hormuz remained open for shipping.
