CBS Sports put out their first ranking of all 138 FBS teams out this week…where does Nebraska stack up?

-The Huskers sit at 35 th in the rankings---which likely would indicate a 6 to 8 win season---and it equates to ranked 10 th in the B1G of all

teams in the league. The Huskers sit right behind Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Boise State and TCU; and ahead of Auburn, VA Tech,

Virginia, and Arizona State, among others (Minnesota is at 40 th )

-6 of Nebraska’s opponents sit ahead of them on the rankings---so if you use that, they might put Nebraska at 6-6 unless there’s an

upset in there…regardless, 3 B1G teams are in the top 6 of the rankings (Ohio State – 1; Oregon – 3; and Indiana – 6)
