On 21st August, Slovaks remember the day when the armies of former eastern bloc countries led by the Soviet Union entered the former Czechoslovakia in order to protect the country against the tendencies of the capitalist west. Soviet leaders aimed to halt the process of liberalization of a socialist country by using armed forces. Let us rerun the feature on the role of the public radio in the 1968 events recorded in 2018.
