Episode Details

Ohio State Buckeyes ramp up their pursuit of 5-star running back David Gabriel Georges as his official visit to Columbus approaches and a commitment date looms. Can Ryan Day and Carlos Locklyn outmaneuver Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Georgia with the first shot to impress the elite prospect? The Buckeyes’ strategy intensifies, with every offensive assistant on board, spotlighting the NIL race and unique recruiting tactics.

Host Jay Stephens breaks down Georges’ fit, highlighting Bo Jackson’s freshman breakout as a key recruiting weapon, the significance of jersey ties, and how Arthur Smith’s NFL pedigree might influence Georges’ decision. The show also explores why Ohio State should target two running backs in the 2027 class, recaps past recruiting near-misses, and spotlights rising talents like Jaden Miles and Nigel Newkirk. Will the Buckeyes’ high-stakes efforts pay off and reshape their running back room for years to come?
