Charles Young, a former Rams tight end and USC standout, passed away at 75. A 1973 Trojan grad, he played in Super Bowl XIV. In college, Young won a national title with USC in 1972 and earned unanimous All-American honors. Drafted 6th overall by the Eagles in 1973, he made Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams in his first three seasons. He played in two Super Bowls, winning with the 49ers in 1981. Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004, Youngs journey from college champ to NFL contender serves as a blueprint for grinders everywhere.
