Story Transcript:
En: A spring morning in Pärnu was quiet and peaceful.
Et: Päike paistis õrnalt üle mere, silitades männimetsa ladvad.
En: The sun gently shone over the sea, caressing the tops of the pine forest.
En: Maire walked slowly along the paths that led her to the spiritually surrounded retreat.
En: She came here to find peace, away from the fast pace of life and the constant sources of noise.
En: However, something inside her wouldn't let her settle down.
En: Every night before going to sleep, thoughts in her head refused to quiet down.
Et: Avatud verandalt vaatas Anneli, retriidi juhendaja, elu kulgu.
En: From the open veranda, Anneli, the retreat leader, observed the flow of life.
Et: "Tere hommikust, Maire," ütles ta naeratades.
En: "Good morning, Maire," she said with a smile.
Et: "Kas oled valmis hommikuseks meditatsiooniks?"
En: "Are you ready for the morning meditation?"
En: Maire nodded quietly, hiding her inner restlessness.
Et: Meditatsioonisaal oli vaikne.
En: The meditation hall was silent.
En: Kert, one of the participants in the retreat, sat quietly in a corner and closed his eyes.
Et: Meditatsioon hakkas pihta.
En: Meditation began.
Et: Oli sügav vaikus, ainult tuul puhus vaikselt aknast sisse.
En: There was deep silence, only the wind quietly blew in through the window.
En: Time passed, and everyone seemed to be in their own world.
Et: Siis korraga võpatas Maire.
En: Then suddenly, Maire flinched.
En: She felt as if someone was missing, as if something was absent.
En: After the meditation, Maire said in an uneasy voice, "Do you also feel like something is wrong?"
En: Anneli looked at her with a surprised expression: "Did you see something?"
En: "I don't know... something was different," Maire replied with a doubtful tone.
En: She felt how others dismissed her concern with a shrug.
Et: Aga Maire ei saanud rahu.
En: But Maire couldn't find peace.
Et: Ta pidi teadma, mis juhtus.
En: She had to know what had happened.
En: In the evening, after dinner, Maire decided to investigate.
En: She left her room and started walking through the house.
En: There were many different rooms
