Description
The Orlando Magic are moving on from Jamahl Mosley. But the team will be building on the foundation he set as they seek a new coach. The new coach must continue with the defensive structures the team had under Mosley while forging a new path and expanding and growing what this team can do.
Orlando is not starting from scratch. With two, maybe three, potential All-Star-level players, the Magic have a lot to attract a new coach and build upon. The Magic will not need to change very much even as a new coach tweaks the offense and tries to unlock the next level within the team.
Regardless, the Magic are not budging too far on this core. And there is no waiting on this young group to develop anymore. The team's focus should be on a championship and the results will matter far more than how they get there.
