So here it is, the conclusion of David’s wonderful story about the summer in his teens when he played cricket for Sussex. We pick things up with him at the crease for an important tour match in Jersey. Then, after that’s all wrapped up, Joe the tells David about the time he very unexpectedly got himself a try-out at his local semi-pro football club.
