A "Special" Kind Of Sabres Game Four Win (LIVE Reaction)

Published 1 day, 8 hours ago
Description

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Steve Bermel just minutes after the Buffalo Sabres, despite being outplayed for a lot of the game, beat the Montreal Canadiens on the road, 3-2 to even their series at two wins apiece.

UPL was shaky in the first period in net for Buffalo, given up two goals before locking down Montreal over the last 40 minutes. Meanwhile, the Sabres scored two power plays goals (one extremely fluky) and killed off six of seven Montreal power plays to key their victory. The guys have plenty to say about all that and also the play of Josh Norris, who Patrick considered crucial to Buffalo's victory.

The guys also have a lot of strong feelings about some horrible officiating and an even worse perspective from the ESPN broadcast that felt biased, one sided and often uninformed.

Also, it's been officially announced that the Bills will open the new Highmark Stadium in Week Two on Thursday Night Football against the Detroit Lions. What do the guys think? That and plenty more today.
