Chapter 5 tells the story of Naaman, a Syrian army commander healed of leprosy after following Elisha’s instructions to wash in the Jordan River seven times. His healing came only after he humbled himself. In Chapter 6, God continues to work through miraculous interventions: recovering a sunken axe head and protecting Elisha and his servant during a siege by revealing the heavenly armies surrounding them.
