The Rays find a way to hang on. Beating the Blue Jays 7-6 in extras. The Rays got off to a blazing start once again. It started with a Jonny DeLuca RBI double in the 1st that gave the Rays the lead. The Cedric Mullins looped a 2 RBI single in the 3rd which made it 3-0. The Rays would extend their lead in the 6th on a Taylor Walls run which made it 4-0. Then Ryan Vilade ripped a solo homer in the 7th which made it 5-0. Then everything fell apart for the Rays in the bottom of the 7th. The Blue Jays would score 5 runs in the 7th which would tie the game. The game would remain tied going into extra innings. In the 10th inning Taylor Walls laced a RBI single which made it 6-5. Jonathan Aranda gave the Rays some much needed insurance with a big sac fly to make it 7-5. Garrett Cleavinger got the save for the Rays as they continue this impressive winning stretch. The Rays will go for the sweep tomorrow night.
