Metro Vancouver is facing renewed criticism after directors received more than $500 stipends for attending a committee meeting that lasted less than four minutes. According to Global News, 13 members of the Regional Planning Committee were paid roughly $557 each for the three-minute-and-40-second meeting, costing taxpayers more than $7,200.
