THE ACOUSTIC CAFÉ is a fortnightly program featuring a mix of singer – songwriter, Celtic, Cajun, global roots, traditional and contemporary folk, blues, country blues, bluegrass, country, old timey and Americana music from Australia and around the world. Live to air, 8pm, every second Tuesday.

The recorded live part of the program features Townes Van Zandt. In July 1973, Van Zandt performed a string of shows over five sweltering nights at the Old Quarter bar in Houston, Texas. This is a selection from those concerts.
