In this episode of The Life of a Multifacet, I’m getting into part one of my wild New York City apartment hunting experience.

From leaving Kentucky, getting into tech sales, moving during the pandemic era, figuring out how to survive in one of the most competitive cities in the world, and finally landing my first apartment in Brooklyn, this episode is really about the risk, pressure, and faith it takes to chase a bigger life.

I talk about wanting more for myself, needing my own space, taking a chance on New York, dealing with the craziness of NYC rent, brokers, income requirements, roommates, and the reality of trying to build a life in a city where everybody is fighting for a spot.

This is part one of the story, before things got even more wild. Because moving to New York is one thing, but actually finding a place and keeping your footing here is a whole different game.
