On today’s episode, I am speaking with Dr. Jani Jensen. Dr. Jensen is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist and she was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2019. She shares her story of diagnosis and treatment- what helped her to make the decision to have a bilateral mastectomy and undergo chemotherapy — and how she showed up in a vulnerable and authentic way to her patients after her diagnosis. For anyone diagnosed with cancer (or facing a challenging situation), Jani recommends having a plan, finding a tribe and using regret management to help make tough decisions.
