Cs: Květen přinesl teplý vzduch a s ním i Majáles.

Cs: Staroměstské náměstí zářilo barvami.
En: Staroměstské náměstí shone with colors.

Cs: Na každém rohu byly pentle a májky tančící ve větru.
En: On every corner were ribbons and maypoles dancing in the wind.

Cs: Lidé se smáli, zpívali a tancovali.
En: People laughed, sang, and danced.

Cs: Vůně čerstvých trdelníků se linula vzduchem.
