The man who killed two family members in Rankin County over the weekend before turning the gun on himself has been identified.
Kurt Birdsong murdered his brother Walter Birdsong Jr., and Walter's wife, Amanda Birdsong on Friday, then barricaded himself inside a home on Monterey Road, eventually taking his own life.
