Q1. Is it taking glory from God to thank people for serving, or even just in a general case, like just saying thanks when we are handed hymn books or when we get a ride somewhere. The context for this question comes from our recent sermons of 1 Thessalonians where Paul gives thanks to God for the brethren rather than giving thanks to the brethren and also because recently we served and helped out in small things and are always receiving thanks. Am I taking glory from God?
