Karyna Shuliak was one of the women most closely associated with Jeffrey Epstein during the later years of his life. Originally from Belarus, Shuliak became part of Epstein’s inner social circle and was frequently described as his girlfriend or companion during the period after his 2008 plea deal. She reportedly lived in properties connected to Epstein and was often seen traveling with him or appearing alongside him in public settings. Unlike some of the more publicly scrutinized figures in Epstein’s orbit, Shuliak largely remained out of the spotlight, giving very few interviews and maintaining a relatively low profile even as scrutiny around Epstein intensified in the years leading up to his 2019 arrest.


Shuliak drew broader public attention after Epstein’s death, particularly because she reportedly visited him shortly before he died at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York. Reports surrounding her relationship with Epstein fueled speculation and public curiosity about how deeply she was involved in his day-to-day life and what she may have known about his operations and associations. Despite intense media attention surrounding Epstein’s network, Shuliak has never been publicly accused of criminal wrongdoing connected to Epstein’s trafficking activities. Still, her proximity to him during the final chapter of his life made her a recurring figure in discussions about the people who remained loyal to Epstein even after his conviction and mounting public disgrace.
