The Mummy (1999) - Nostalgia Check
Description
HAPPY MUMMY'S DAY!!
This week on Nostalgia Check presented by BJ in the Morning, we revisit the 1999 action-adventure classic The Mummy starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz and Arnold Vosloo.
From cursed tombs and flesh-eating scarabs to one-liners and chaotic CGI, we break down why this movie became such a massive favorite for an entire generation. Does it still hold up after all these years? Is Rick O’Connell one of the greatest action heroes ever? And just how many people definitely should NOT have opened that book?
We recap the movie, talk favorite scenes, roast the questionable visual effects, and decide if The Mummy passes the Nostalgia Check.
