The project, made possible by Mitre tens Helping Hands program and local volunteers, offers a fully accessible outdoor space for respite. The hospice, which supports around 900 patients annually, is grateful for community support in funding the project. Mitre ten MEGA Whangārei also recently raised over $67,000 for the Northern Rescue Helicopter.
