A Prayer for When We’re Tired of Struggling
Loving God,
sometimes we try to do what is right
and still find ourselves
walking through difficult things.
There are moments
when the road feels longer
than we expected.
Moments when we feel worn down
by what we are carrying.
And yet—
the Psalm speaks of people
who passed through fire and flood
and kept walking together through it.
People who discovered
that in the middle of hardship,
you were still listening.
Still guiding.
Still making a way forward.
So when life becomes heavy,
keep us from turning inward
or pulling away from one another.
And when we cannot yet see
where the path is leading,
give us the courage
to keep walking together—
trusting
that you are leading us
toward a more spacious place.
