81 | Grieving on Mother's Day? How to Hold Grief with Grace When the Day Hurts

Episode 81 Published 5 months, 1 week ago
Description

Welcome back to Midlife Transformation.

Today, we’re holding space for something tender… grief.

For the woman who has lost a child—whether through miscarriage, at birth, or later in life—there are no simple words. A mother’s love doesn’t end with loss. It continues… in memory, in longing, in the quiet moments no one else sees.

In Matthew chapter 5, we’re told, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Not rushed. Not fixed. Comforted.

Grief is not something you “get over.” It’s something you learn to carry—with grace, with faith, and sometimes… one breath at a time. If this is your story, I want you to know—you are still a mother. Your love still matters. Your connection still exists., and your life still holds purpose, even in the pain.

Today, there is no pressure to be anything other than where you are. God meets you there. So here’s the question I want to leave with you—

What would it look like to allow yourself to be held, instead of trying to hold it all together?

I’ll see you tomorrow.
